travelling Residency and Exhibition Platform for unexpected outcomes

The platform focuses on the environments that are perceived as radically socio-economically different. Since these differences are seen (also from the perspective of many cultural funding politics) as a determinant as well as a driver for transformation processes with a wish to create a common ground of idealistic exchange and probable political influence within the environments, we wonder what is there when we deny the necessity for transformative exchange, adaptation, exchange driven development and the future oriented narrative. The platform strives to trigger the “now”, is rather a capsule, where the “time stops” - where the narrative of influence can be speculated about, reflected, and questioned in an epistemic manner. It is to raise awareness of the different contexts and realities of artistic production in places, but also to identify commonalities and themes that transcend geographical borders.
The idea is to bring together young artists and other practitioners from different contexts without knowing each other beforehand in a processual, eclectic and experimental approach. The collision of realities is the precondition for the emergence of new ways of thinking and strategies of action.
