Private sphere that has been distorted by optimization processes consists of 810800 stitches, synthetic yarn, silk, mohair, metal and 2 weeks of handwork in the industrial town of Singen, DE.

The optimization within work and leisure processes results in the lethal loss of „something“ that cannot be grasped. It deprives any chaotic - positive - naturalness of the „right“ to be. At the same time, this status quo transgresses the apparent patterns, which should mostly extend purely to efficiency in work and economic processes, and enters the „space“ of diverse subjects. This distorted access is granted even though it is „legally“ protected. Transgression in all „spaces“ extinguishes the freedom to exist unthreatened. In reference to the industrial context and origin of the city of Singen, DE, 810800 is a paraphrase of a privacy sphere which the factories Alu Singen, Georg-Fischer and Maggi have had influence on since 1897.
